Research + Perspective

 

Jacy uses research based approaches and takes a holistic wellness perspective. She takes a thorough account of all aspects of your life (professional, personal, physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional) before creating a collaborative plan to address your concerns.  

She is trained in mindfulness and depending on your comfort level will bring in some exercises to decrease stress and address other issues in session.  She utilizes Gottman Method (Level 1) to help individuals who feel disconnected in their relationships or need successful strategies to manage conflict.  She has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT) using mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal skills and distress tolerance to help you cope with overwhelming emotions.  She has studied the Enneagram personality typing system over the years and can help you understand your personality/motivation in relation to others and the world to either further accept yourself or make necessary changes in your way of thinking and behaviors creating a happier and healthier life.
